Pablo’s Baile: Brazilian Dance Party

Immerse yourself in an exciting night of samba & forró in the heart of Adams Morgan, DC. Drink and dance to classic pagode, samba, baião, and xote songs of beloved Brazilian artists like Seu Jorge, Djavan, Zeca Pagodinho, Alcione, Diogo Nogueira, Jorge Ben, Luiz Gonzaga, Dominguinhos, Falamansa and more.

Brazilian-Peruvian singer and guitarist Pablo Regis performs samba, forró, and other Afro-Brazilian styles. Pablo is the foremost Brazilian cavaquinho player (Brazilian ukulele) in the DMV and a 2018 Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award winner. A lively and talented performer, Pablo’s intense percussive cavaquinho strumming and infectious charisma ramp up the crowd’s excitement to get everybody moving and singing along.

Pablo is joined on stage by some of the DMV’s top musicians who bring creativity and unique sound to these Brazilian classics.
